Unique to the city of Kyoto from which it gets its name, Kyobancha is harvested from tea leaves and twigs that have matured over the winter months before being roasted. The resulting tea is very woodsy with a hint of smoke. A uniquely seasonal tea that invites contemplation of time and place.
