This sencha comes to us from Tarui Tea Farm in the mountains of Shizouka Prefecture. Shizu 7132 is a rare tea cultivar that is characterized by its aroma, which some describe as being subtle cherry blossom leaf. This cultivar does well in higher elevation areas, and is a unique offering from an organic tea farmer.
 
We recommend steeping at a lower temperature to bring out the sweetness. This tea is also excellent cold steeped.
