Bluish-white porcelain houhin from the Yoshimura Toen Kiln. Hasamiyaki is a type of porcelain first made in Hasami town. The technique was brought from Korea and dates back 400 years.
 
Thanks to its flat and wide shape, this houhin is particularly suitable for premium quality teas. The leaves have plenty of space to open, which helps to reveal a tea's true sweetness and gentle elegance.
