Mr. Lin has been growing and producing award-winning oolongs for the past 40 years and is a huge proponent of natural farming —you'll never find any pesticides near his plants. His GABA has been roasted slowly for four hours after a 3-day anaerobic fermentation.
About GABA: GABA is a neurotransmitter your body makes but is also a naturally occuring compound in the tea leaf (normally in small amounts). The technology for boosting the amount in tea was created in Japan in the early 80s. The tea undergoes a special oxygen-free fermentation process which raises the level of natural GABA in the leaves. GABA keeps you relaxed, increases alpha waves, and provides a calming affect that has made it a popular tea for reducing anxiety and stress.
