One of our new decaf tea experiments. This tea is decaffeinated using the CO2 process to lower the caffeine to the EU standard, which is around .4% of the original caffeine content. The process does change the overall flavor and aroma, but it's still an excellent option for people who need a night time drinking tea. A bright and floral white tea that started as a fresh 2024 Baimudan white tea from Fujian, with quite a noticeable color change in the dry leaf after processing. The flavors and aromatics are still closer to a fesh white than the color indicates.
