Dawuye dancong cultivar that is rarely pressed into cakes, so the intention with this tea was to preserve it for aging experiments. Over the course of time, the roast melts into the leaves creating an almost blackberry jam flavor with a sweetness unparalleled in the world of dancong. The producer hopes this transformation becomes realized, but it's also a fantastic oolong to drink in the present.

When steeped, the leaves offer intense fruity notes, almost like a jolly rancher. The tea brews a beautiful amber color with a nice dark sweetness, like honey on toast, with complex fruit notes in the background.
