"Beishoku" derives from the color of rice straw. Contrary to the blue color celadon, this teacup turns yellow through oxidation firing. Kumidashi is the word used for a teacup that has a wide mouth and edges that flare out. Generally reserved for higher end teas, but also suitable for everyday.
