BEE BALM DANCONG (bag of 3 minis)
6 g mini tea / bag of 3
Wudong Village, Guangdong, China / Autumn 2024
orchid / peach / honey / sweet corn
In the Phoenix mountains, no cultivar is more popular that Milan Xiang, or "Honey Orchid." As one of the earliest teas to produce buds in the spring, this cultivar is first on the market and its flavor profile has become synonymous with dancong oolong. This particular fall harvest is on the lighter side of roasting, offering plentiful floral and stone fruit notes.
When brewed, the tea leaves exude sweet fruitiness with slight vegetal notes and intense fragrance. Rich in color and body, the tea presents a thick mouthfeel with a taste that is sweet like honey and spicy like cinnamon. Plenty of complex notes will unfold during a focused tea session, so we recommend gong fu for a full experience of what this tea has to offer.
